We set out today with clear sky, but that would soon change.
Heading west again on I-90 about a hour into our trip the skies open up and rains fell mixed with hail. the rain didn't last long and by the time we reached our first stop it, Palisades Park was down to a drizzle. The park is known for is Pink Sioux Quartzite formations.
After a quick stop we continued on west to Sioux Fall South Dakota, and that is went the rain really came down. The roads in town quickly small steams, we decided to wait out the rain and get some lunch.
After lunch the rains had stop and the roads cleared up enough to make it down to the Falls, we even had our first Moose Siting (strange he was so close to town).
Back on the road again we came to our last stop on the day, Mitchel S.D. home to The Worlds Only Corn Palace.
